
Ingredients
Baked beans
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tin baked beans
1 medium onion (diced)
½ red pepper (diced)
2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
Fresh chili (finely chopped)
Mushrooms
2 cups sliced mushrooms
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons garlic butter
Salt and pepper
Method
Baked beans
Heat a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add oil, and onions, garlic, chili and fry for 3 – 4 minutes or until the onion is soft and almost lightly golden.
Add red pepper and cook for further 1 minute.
Add baked beans and green jalapeno sauce and simmer for 3 – 4 minutes
Sauteed mushrooms
To clean mushrooms, wipe gently with a paper towel.
Fry garlic in olive oil on high heat for 1 minute.
Add mushrooms and butter then simmer on low - medium heat for 3 minutes or until the mushrooms start to change colour.
Season with salt and pepper and continue to simmer for 2 – 3 minutes or until they are golden brown.
